Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and JustShot - JustEverything Software. They cover the JustShot Mac application, the website at justshot.net, the dashboard at app.justshot.net, and share links served at jstsht.co. Using any of these means you accept them.

You must be at least 13 years old to use JustShot.

The Mac app is free. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use it on Macs you own or control, for personal or commercial work alike. The app is licensed, not sold: we keep ownership of it and all its intellectual property.

You may not:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble it, except where law expressly permits that despite this restriction.
• Remove or alter any copyright or attribution it contains.
• Redistribute, resell, rent, or sublicense it, or pass it off as your own.
• Circumvent the plan limits or licensing checks, or help anyone else do so.

The app updates itself automatically so that security fixes reach you. You can turn that off in the app’s settings, but we may stop supporting old versions.

JustShot Cloud requires an account, created by signing in with Google. You are responsible for what happens under your account, and for keeping your Google account secure - anyone who can sign in as you can reach your files. Tell us at contact@justshot.net if you believe your account has been misused.

One account is for one person. Please don’t share credentials.

Paid plans are subscriptions, billed monthly or yearly in advance. Prices are shown on the pricing page before you buy, and we will tell you before any price change affects a renewal.

Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record. Your purchase is transacted by them, they handle payment and any sales tax or VAT, and their terms apply to the transaction itself. Your card details never reach us.

You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your plan keeps working until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not pro-rate part-months.

If a paid plan isn’t right for you, email contact@justshot.net within 14 days of the purchase and we will refund it in full. You do not need to give a reason.

After 14 days we do not generally refund part-used periods, though we will always honour whatever your local consumer law requires. If something went wrong on our side, tell us - we would rather fix it or refund it than argue about it.

Please read this one. It is the part of JustShot most likely to surprise you.

Each plan has a storage cap, a file count, and a retention period. When you exceed a limit, the oldest uploads are deleted automatically to make room for the newest. Files older than your plan's retention period are also removed. This is deliberate - it is what keeps a free tier possible - but it means deletion is routine and permanent.

If a paid subscription ends, we hold everything for a further 30 days and email you a warning before that window closes. After it closes, anything above the free limit is deleted permanently.

JustShot is a sharing tool, not a backup service. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose. We are not liable for files removed by these rules.

What you upload stays yours. We claim no ownership of it. You grant us only the narrow, revocable licence needed to run the service: to store your files, make thumbnails, and transmit them to whoever opens your link. That licence ends when you delete the file.

By uploading, you confirm that you have the right to do so.

You must not use JustShot to store, share, or link to:

• Anything unlawful where you are, or where we are.
• Child sexual abuse material. We report this to the authorities and terminate the account immediately, without warning or refund.
• Content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, or other rights.
• Intimate images of anyone shared without their consent.
• Malware, phishing pages, or anything designed to deceive people into giving up credentials or money.
• Harassment of a person, or content that threatens or incites violence against anyone.
• Other people's personal or confidential data that you have no right to distribute.

You also must not:

• Use JustShot as a general file host, a CDN, or a backup target - it is for sharing captures.
• Automate uploads at a scale that degrades the service for others, or attempt to evade rate limits.
• Probe, scan, or attack the service, or try to reach accounts or files that aren't yours.
• Resell access to the service.

We may remove content or suspend an account that breaks these rules. Where it is reasonable to do so we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond; for serious cases, particularly the first two above, we act immediately.

If a JustShot link points at something that infringes your rights or breaks the rules above, email contact@justshot.net with the link and a short explanation. For a copyright claim, include enough for us to identify the work, a statement that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them, and how to contact you.

We review reports promptly and remove content that clearly violates these terms.

We aim to keep JustShot running, but we do not promise a particular level of uptime. The service may be unavailable for maintenance, or because a provider we depend on has a problem. We may change or discontinue features. If we ever discontinue the cloud service entirely, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice and a way to download your files.

You can stop at any time: delete your account from Settings, and everything goes with it. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or that has been inactive on a free plan for an extended period - with notice, unless the breach is one of the serious ones above.

JustShot is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that files will always be preserved.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties. Where that is so, this section applies only as far as the law permits, and nothing here removes rights your local consumer law gives you.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, nor for lost profits, lost business, or lost or corrupted data, arising from your use of JustShot.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or twenty US dollars.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

If someone brings a claim against us because of content you uploaded or shared, or because you broke these terms, you agree to cover the reasonable costs and damages that result.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and for material changes we will email account holders in advance. If you continue using JustShot after a change takes effect, you accept the new terms; if you don’t, cancel and, if you have paid for a period you won’t now use, tell us and we will refund the remainder.

These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, and the courts of Vietnam have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of your own country.

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. Not enforcing something once doesn’t waive our right to enforce it later.
